ZIGZAGZINE's statusNumber eleven. The right time for an inventory. I am not only searching for knowledge
about my subjective self but also, being a methodical person (believe it or not), about
the system underlying people's behaviour in general. The search does not follow a
pre-planned course, though I did have a few plans. As might be expected when starting a
search, I ran in the course of the writing process into some of my fears. It indeed turned
out to be difficult for me to come forward with my view on astrology. I was aware that
only very few people take the trouble to get to know themselves subjectively, and although
they secretly read pulp-astrology texts whenever they can, they speak with disdain about
it and give it no real further attention. My fear gave me a motive to examine in which way
my view on astrology is different and how I could defend this opinion. The necessity to
pay close attention to my problem luckily helped me a lot. I hope you can smile, like I
can now, about the fears that bothered me. |

Individual applicationMeanwhile three patterns of beginning are ready: the Cancer, the Scorpio
and the Pisces pattern. The problem I had in handling my fear has played
some tricks on me here. |

General processesThree difficult texts of which I have to admit that I loved working on them. It must
have been the feeling that I was getting a grip on the combination of subjectivity and
systematics which made me enthusiastic. |

Subjective storiesThe personal stories are introduced while they raise basic questions and can clarify
some essential matter. I want to show how 1. paying attention to important subjective
experiences, 2. searching for astrological similarities and 3. the analysis of the
relation between the two, work out practically in my example. I'll continue feeding
psychologists. |

Mutually related conceptsUp till now I have used a number of notions without defining them. Concepts like
expectation, value, power, freedom, etc. can perhaps theoretically be clearly defined. I
believe such concepts have an individual meaning for a certain person. Because he applies
the same notion in different processes in another phase and because the notions are always
mutually related in a personal way, their content and application can be developed by that
individual. For that reason every concept should be described in relation to other
notions. I plan to work out this idea further, if possible. |
